Hollywood star Tom Hardy has officially been set to share the screen space with Leonardo DiCaprio in 'The Revenant'.
The gritty thriller has been adapted and helmed by Alejandro Gonzqlez Inarritu from Michael Punke's novel 'The Revenant: A Novel of Revenge', reported Deadline.
Oscar-winning Gravity cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki is also onboard for the movie. The shooting will begin from September 22.
The story talks about the journey of a 19th century fur trapper (DiCaprio) who is mauled by a grizzly bear, left for dead, and robbed. When he survives against all odds he sets out on a treacherous journey to take revenge on his betrayers.
