Top cos line up for Pharma Expo 2016 at Pragati Maidan

Key pharmaceutical manufacturing companies including ayurvedic and herbal product makers would participate in the 'Indian Pharma Expo 2016', starting tomorrow at Pragati Maidan.

The three-day fair will provide an opportunity to the companies to display their products and services to both domestic and global visitors.

In its 5th edition, companies from all over India will be participating to display their new products, innovative technologies and trends which will be coming soon in the future of the Indian pharmaceutical industry.
Future Enterprise to raise Rs 45 crore through NCDs

* Future Enterprise would raise Rs 45 crore through an issue of non-convertible debentures (NCD).
 

The committee of directors of the Future Group firm, in its meeting held "considered, approved and alloted" NCDs, the company informed BSE.

The company would issue NCDs in two tranches of Rs 27 crore and Rs 18 crore.

The NCDs would be listed on wholesale debt market segment of BSE, it added.

Share of Future Enterprise today settled at Rs 16.70 on BSE, down 1.76 per cent from previous close.

Zensar Technologies ropes in Manoj Jaiswal as CFO * Zensar Technologies today said it has appointed Manoj Jaiswal as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Jaiswal will take over the role on January 16, 2017, from S Balasubramaniam.

"Manoj has worked with RPG Enterprises and is familiar with the Group and Zensar management, and the culture of the organisation," Zensar Technologies CEO and Managing Director Sandeep Kishore said.

Previously, Jaiswal was the CFO of tyre maker CEAT Ltd, which is a group company of RPG Enterprises.

The BlueBook raises $500,000 in seed funding led by IAN * Bengaluru-based online-to-offline marketing platform, The BlueBook has raised USD 500,000 in seed funding, led by Indian Angel Network.

Other participants included Let's Venture, a fund raising platform and angel investors from Singapore and the US.

"We aim to be present in all major metros in the next few quarters with our full stack solution," The BlueBook CEO and co-founder Varun Kumar Akula said.

The capital raised will be deployed in consolidating the merchant and user base in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Gurgaon, apart from investing on the product and technology, he added.
mRUPEE partners HP Petrol Pumps for digital payments

* Tata Teleservices's digital wallet mRUPEE has partnered with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) whereby the wallet will now be available as a payment option at nearly 100 HP outlets across the country.

"Tying up with HPCL gives us the opportunity to reach out to consumers at their petrol pumps and giving the users an option of a quick and easy transaction," mRUPEE Chief Operating Officer Pradeep K Sampath said in a statement.

Over the next two months, this feature will be available at more than 2000 HP outlets across 16 states.
