He said that some low-level leaders of the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban (TTP) Pakistan were still at large.

Malik, who was speaking to reporters here, also condemned the attack carried out by the TTP on an office of a private television channel in Karachi last evening.

Malik, who was the Interior Minister, was forced out of his office after the Supreme Court annulled his membership of the Senate on account of his holding dual citizenship.

He was then made an Advisor by the previous regime of Yousuf Raza Gilani and continues to hold the position under new Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf.
