Top players for Asian junior TT

Around 200 players from 16 countries, including a galaxy of top ranked world juniors and top players from India, will take part in the 20th Reliance Asian Junior Table Tennis Championships at the NSCI's Sardar Vallabhai Patel Indoor Stadium here from September 12 to 16.

The championship, being organised by the Mumbai City District Table Tennis Association (MCDTTA), is one of the most prestigious events of the World Junior table tennis circuit.

It is being held under the auspices of the Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU), Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) and Maharashtra State Table Tennis Association (MSTTA), a media release said today.
 

Eight-time national men's singles champion Kamlesh Mehta is the tournament director.

Nita Ambani today unveiled the logo of the championship along with tournament advisor and former national champion Niraj Bajaj, Organising Committee chairperson Vita Dani, Mehta and TTFI secretary general Dhanraj Choudhary.
