Security personnel kept a hawk-eye vigil as AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa today stepped out from her Poes Garden residence to undertake the seven km journey to Madras University Centenary Auditorium to take oath as chief minister.
Stengun-toting commandos were perched on either side of her silver coloured SUV as it moved at a moderate speed to enable onlookers to have a glimpse of their 'Amma' en route the auditorium where the swearing-in took place.
