Tourism festival to be organised in Jaipur

A two-day event to attract tourists in the Pink City will be organised at City Palace and Jaigarh Fort here from Friday.

Third edition of "Jaipur by Nite" would give an impetus to tourism in the city in the lean months of tourists' arrival, Vikram Singh, director, state tourism department, said in a press release here today.

Ten ambassadors expected to participate in the event to be organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Young Indians (YI), Department of Tourism in Rajasthan, Union Tourism Ministry, and supported by Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators and Hotel and Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR), he said.
 

CII-Rajasthan Anand Singhal said the objective of "Jaipur by Nite" was to promote Rajasthan during the summer and monsoon months as a tourism, craft and shopping destination by way of gala festival.

Many ambassadors of countries such as France, Italy, Australia, Namibia, Turkey, Slovak, Slovania, Rawanda, Nigeria and Bosnia would also attend the events, the release said.
