At least seven persons, including a tourist from Andhra Pradesh, were killed in separate incidents in Sambalpur district, police said here today.
While three persons, including an 18-year-old girl were killed when their motorcycle had a head-on collision with a truck at Baragaon, two others bikers died when their vehicles rammed into a wall of the Jamadarpalli air stripe yesterday.
A youth was also killed when his bike hit a tractor at nearby Gudesira.
A tourist Bira Babu (35) from Rajmundry in Andhra Pradesh drowned in the Chipilima power channel in the Mahanadi river while he was taking bath. He was one of the 40 tourists who visited the place yesterday.
