The Towheed Jamaat has decided to support any political party in the Lok Sabha polls that provides 10 per cent reservation for Muslims in jobs in government as well as private sector.
Members of the Jamaat, who met here yesterday, alleged that though the Justice Ranganath Mishra Commission had recommended to provide reservation, no steps had been taken to provide reservation.
According to a Jamaat release here today, members have decided to observe 'Jail bharo' agitation on January 28 at Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Coimbatore, Puducherry and Karaikal demanding 10 per cent reservation.
