TPDDL extends scholarships to under-privileged students

As part of its community welfare initiatives, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) today extended scholarships to 30 students from Kasturba Polytechnic for Women, Pusa Polytechnic and Aryabhatt Polytechnic.

TPDDL has extended scholarships to students belonging to less privileged section of the society.

TPDDL has so far supported over 900 students in pre-Board and Board level from 26 government schools by providing them reference books, bags and stationery since the inception of the programme in 2007.

Since 2007, TPDDL has also supported 450 students of two Engineering colleges, three Delhi University colleges, four Polytechnics and three ITI's by providing them their fees, books, lab charges etc.
 

"These students belong to marginalized families and are incapable of meeting their study expenses", Praveer Sinha, CEO of TPDDL, said.
