One person was killed when a tractor-trolley collided with a passenger train at an unmanned level crossing near here today, a Railway official said.
The mishap took place between Sankheda and Amalpur stations, about 70km from here.
The deceased was identified as Chandrakant Bhikhabhai Baria, the tractor driver, a spokesman of Vadodara Division of Western Railway said.
Baria suffered fatal injuries when his tractor dashed into the Chhotaudepur-Vadodara passenger train. No casualty was reported among the train passengers, he said.
The accident disrupted rail traffic on the section and the train passengers were transported to nearby Pratapnagar station in buses, the spokesman added.
