Trade unions in Rajasthan have extended their support to the all India bandh called by central trade unions on September 2 on issues of inflation, labour laws, labour welfare and others.

"Strike will be observed in all the organisations which are associated with the trade unions. These includes roadways, power, textile mills, cement factories, autorickshaws and others," Guman Singh, state president of INTUC, told reporters here.

In Rajasthan, the issues are anti-labour policies in the name of labour reforms, demand of minimum wage of Rs 15,000 per month and others, he said.

Employees on strike will assemble at Shaheed Smaraka near government hostel in the state capital and take out a rally.

Similar rallies would also be taken out in all the district headquarters, he added.
