Armed criminals robbed cash and

valuables from a trader and sped away in his car here, police said today.

Shyam, who runs a furniture showroom at sector 10, was getting into his car to go home last night when the armed criminals overpowered him and robbed him of Rs 52,000 in cash, gold chain, laptop, mobile phone and other valuables, they said.

The robbers left Shyam near a mall and fled away with his car, they said. An FIR has been lodged in this regard, police said.

Meanwhile, a telecom company salesman Sunder Singh was robbed of recharge coupons worth Rs 60,000 and Rs 2.5 lakh cash yesterday. He has lodged an FIR at Noida phase II police station.
 

In another incident, sector 30 resident Mamta was robbed of her mobile phone from near DPS school. She has lodged an FIR in this regard at sector 20 police station, police said.
