allegedly broke into a trader's house here, shot him dead and decamped with goods and valuables worth Rs 25 lakh, police said today.
The assailants barged into hardware trader Dhiraj Jaiswal's house situated in Bairgania police station area last night and shot him dead before stealing goods and valuables worth Rs 25 lakh, DSP Alok Kumar said.
The body was sent for postmortem, the DSP said.
A case has been registered in this connection and raids were being carried out to nab the robbers, Kumar said.
