Traders looted in Odisha

A gang of dacoits looted Rs 12.92 lakh from a group of cattle traders at gun point and injured one of them when he resisted in Keonjhar district today, police said.

The vehicles of twelve traders on their way from Champua area to Bonai for purchase of cattle were attacked by the gang of dacoits who came in a jeep and snatched cash from them.

One trader Sarat Pradhan was hit with a rifle butt when he tried to resist them. The injured trader fell unconscious and was later admitted to hospital.
