e-Commerce firm Tradus today said it has introduced grocery delivery by local sellers in Delhi.
Consumers can order their daily needs such as dal, rice, sugar, tea, etc from local sellers all via Tradus mobile apps (android, iOS or windows phone), it said in a release.
Buyers will get deliveries within hours, ensuring freshness and reliability of goods, it added.

* * * * * Mindtree and IGD launch inaugural e-commerce award * IT services firm Mintree today announced a new award category to recognise excellence in e-commerce among CPG and retail enterprises in partnership with IGD, a membership organisation for the retail and consumer goods industries.
Companies in the CPG (consumer products and goods) and retail domain that have demonstrated true leadership, innovation and excellence in e-commerce or m-commerce are invited to submit their nomination, it said in a release.
The closing date for entries is May 31 and details about the application process can be found on Mindtree and IGD websites.

Assocham to launch malaria awareness campaign tomorrow * To spread awareness about malaria, its causes, prevention and treatment, Assocham will launch a campaign on World Malaria Day tomorrow.
According to estimates, malaria claims about 50,000 lives in India each year while about one crore people world-wide die of mosquito-borne diseases every year.
Apart from malaria, the campaign aims to educate people about water-borne diseases like cholera, gastroenteritis, diarrhoea and others that erupt every year during summer and rainy seasons due to poor quality of drinking water supply and sanitation.
