On the eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Gurgaon for Haryana's Golden Jubilee celebrations, police today issued a traffic advisory asking motorists to avoid major roads.

Some diversion and restrictions have been made from the security point of view as along with the Prime Minister, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and other VVIPs would be attending the function at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium here, a senior police official said.

Motorists going to Rajeev Chowk, Subhash Chowk and Hero Honda Chowk have to go via Baktawar Chowk and Sohna Road, he said.

While those coming from NH-8 and going toward Sohna Chowk will go via Hero Honda Chowk and not exit from NH-10, those going to Subhash Chowk will be sent via Hero Honda Chowk, he said.

To go to Baktawar Chowk it is suggested to follow the Jhadsa Village road from Jhadsa Chowk, he added.

The diversion will be started from at 2 PM Tuesday till late mid-night, he added.
