The concessionaire of Kherki Daula toll plaza in Gurgaon today said the commuters will not face difficulties while passing through the plaza in future.

Concessionaire, Millennium City Express Way Private Ltd (MCEPL) called on Haryana Financial Commissioner & Principal Secretary PWD (B&R) Sanjeev Kaushal to discuss modalities to ease the Toll Plaza with the concessionaire and NHAI authorities, says an official release.

During the meeting, Kaushal expressed unhappiness over the way traffic was managed at the Kherki Daula toll plaza and said that either the number of employees deployed there is less or they are not properly trained.

The concessionaire said they took over this toll plaza on May 19 and demanded time up to June 15 to make changes for improvement so that the commuters do not face problems.

MCEPL chief executive officer S Raguraman said the concessionaire plans to provide a dedicated emergency lane for the ambulances, fire tenders etc on both sides.

Similarly, there is a proposal to extend the Toll Plaza on both sides.

He said employees at Toll Plaza will be properly trained so that they behave in a well mannered way with the commuters and will also be dressed up in proper uniforms.

Raguraman added that to further simplify the procedure for preparation of monthly passes for the daily commuters, the concessionaire plans to introduce online recharge facility.
