Train accident averted in Assam

The driver of the express found a foodgrain-loaded goods train near the Barahu railway station ahead on the track and applied emergency brakes, North East Frontier Railway public relation officer Nripendra Bhattacharya said.

The express was delayed for more than two hours as a result and later left for Dibrugarh.
