Train engine fails, passengers create chaos

The engine of a Dehradun-bound express train failed at Modinagar here, leading to which the train was struck for around two hours, railway sources said.

The engine of the Dehradun-Ujjain express train failed near Modi inter-college around 12:30 pm, they said.

Later, after the agitated passengers created chaos, the engine of the train was replaced with that of a passing goods train and it left for its onward journey, the sources said.
