Train services on Patna-Jhajha section in Bihar were disrupted today for several hours after the insulator of overhead electric wire snapped at Barahia station under Danapur division of East Central Railway (ECR).
The movement of trains like Howrah-Patna Janata Express, Patna-Howrah Janshatabdi Express and Danapur-Tata Super Express came to a grinding halt due to the snapping of the insulator, Danapur division PRO Ranjit Kumar Singh said.
The electric wires were repaired later and all stranded trains left for their onward destinations, he added.
