Training academy for RPF personnel to come up in Secunderabad

Railways today announced the setting up of National Academy for Railway Security, a state-of-the-art training centre for RPF personnel, at Maula-Ali in Secunderabad.

Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda made the announcement while addressing Railways Protection Force (RPF) personnel at RPF Training Centre in Secunderabad.

He was the chief guest at the Passing-Out Parade of 53rd batch of 421 direct recruit RPF Sub-Inspector Cadets, including 42 lady officers.

Gowda also announced that a Fire Arms Training Simulator will be provided for each training centre of RPF.

The cadets completed nine months of initial training during which they received rigorous physical training and were taught various subjects like law, crime, forensic science, disaster management, a ministry official said.
 

All the cadets were successful in the final examination conducted after the training, he added.
