A 12ft long python, spotted in the the fish market in Hogenakkal tourists spot, about 52 kms from here, was trapped and let into the forests, official sources said here today.
The python was spotted by fishermen last night. After trapping it they informed the Forest Officials.
A team of forest officials let the python into the Pannappatti Reserve Forest area today, the sources said.
