Railway Minister Mukul Roy today said that an appointment has been sought from the prime minister at 3 PM tomorrow and all the ministers will go and give their resignations in Delhi tomorrow.
Ruling out any compromise, he said TMC chief Mamata Banerjee has already announced the party's stand of withdrawing the ministers from the government and support to it on the issue of FDI in retail, diesel price hike and cap on supply of LPG cylinders.
To a question, Roy denied that the Prime Minister or Finance Minister P Chidambaram had called him to communicate to Banerjee anything about the Centre's plans to go ahead with the decisions on these issues.
He recalled that former Finance Minister and Leader of the Lok Sabha Pranab Mukherjee had announced in the House that FDI in multi-brand retail would not not be implemented till a political consensus is not not reached.
