Trinamool MP recovering in hospital

Diagnosed with acute grade E Pancreatitis, obstructive jaundice, and various other gastroenterological diseases, Trinamool Congress MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay is recovering in a private hospital.

Apollo's medical superintendent Dr Partho Bhattacharya said today, "The patient has improved dramatically and within 48 hours his blood parameters have settled with relief from jaundice, infection and pancreatitis."

He said that Bandyopadhyay, admitted on December 26, was on oral feeds and undergoing aggressive physiotherapy. He was showing significant improvement on all aspects.
