Trinamool Congress MP Sultan Ahmed today sought some more time to appear before the CBI probing the Narada tapes scandal in which several of his party's ministers, MLAs and MPs were allegedly seen accepting money in exchange for extending favours.
Ahmed was asked to appear before the CBI this morning to face interrogation.
Instead of appearing personally, the Trinamool MP sent his lawyer who sought some more time on his behalf.
