Alleging that the ruling TRS in Telangana and opposition BJP have a clandestine understanding to cooperate on various issues,AICC in-charge of party affairs in the state R C Khuntia on Friday said TRS should explain to people about supporting the RTI amendment bill in Parliament.
The TRS, which initially proposed to send the bill to the select committee, supported it after Union Home Minister Amit Shah called TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Khuntia claimed in a release Friday night.
"They (TRS) should explain to the people about the politics that happened in this matter," Khuntia said.
He alleged that both BJP and TRS they have a clandestine agreement among them and cooperate with each other on various issues, though they criticise each other in public.
Khuntia recalled that TRS had earlier supported BJP on various issues, including election of the President, Vice President, GST and demonetization.
"The people of Telangana should realize the politics of BJP and TRS and support the Congress," Khuntia said.
The AICC leader exhorted party leaders and workers to participate in the campaign (beginning Saturday) to hoist party flags across the state, to gear up the party ahead of the municipal elections and to work for its victory.
