Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly was adjourned for an hour today after agitating TRS members raised slogans in support of the demand for separate statehood for Telangana and disrupted the proceedings.
As soon as the Assembly met for the day, the TRS legislators were on their feet and trooped into the Well of the House.
They refused to pay heed to the repeated appeals by Speaker N Manohar, who asked them to return to their seats for smooth conduct of the proceedings.
The House is slated to discuss the vote-on-account budget presented by Finance Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy on Monday.
