TRS is looking to win a significant number of seats in assembly and Lok Sabha elections which would enable it to dictate terms to the Centre and achieve separate Telangana state, TRS Pesident K Chandrasekhar Rao said today.

He said achieving a seperate state would be easy if TRS wins about 100 assembly and 15 Lok Sabha seats.

The TRS President was speaking at the 12th formation day celebration of the party at Armoor in Nizamabad district of Andhra Pradesh.

TRS would go it alone in the next election, he said.

Chandrasekhar Rao was re-elected as party president at the meeting for the seventh time.

He is likely to undertake a 'Yatra' across the region soon and the modalities are being worked out, he said.

Alleging that Congress, TDP and other parties were dominated by leaders from non-Telangana regions, he urged the people to reject those parties.

The TRS President wowed to step up the agitation till the seperate statehood is achieved.

The party passed several resolutions including setting up a steel plant in the region.
