Police have seized a lorry laden with bulls during a surprise check at the Farah toll plaza here.
The driver of the lorry and other occupants, however, managed to flee abandoning the vehicle, police said here today. The incident took place yesterday night.
"While six of the bulls in the lorry were dead, six were alive. The hunt for culprits who had fled after abandoning the truck is on," a police officer said.
An FIR has been registered against unknown persons under relevant sections of the law, deputy superintendent of police R K Gautam said.
