Two brothers were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a speeding truck near Sarangpur town, 85 kms from the district headquarters on Agra-Mumbai national highway, police said today.
The mishap took place last night when the duo were returning to Shajapur on their motorcycle after taking part in a marriage function at village Dhinka in the district, Police Inspector Prakash Mishra said.
The deceased were identified as Gokul Prasad Sen (45) and his brother Govardhan Prasad Sen nearly 40 years, police said.
The truck driver escaped from the spot after the mishap, Mishra said adding a case has been registered in this regard against him.
