A couple was killed when their bike was hit by a speeding truck in Badaut area here, police said today.
The deceased were identified as the 45-year-old Rahees and his wife Sanjida (42).
The accident took place yesterday when the couple's bike was hit by a truck near Bawali village in Badaut, they said.
Both of them died on the spot.
The truck was seized and efforts were on to nab the absconding driver, police added.
