A person was killed and four others were injured when a truck ran over them at Alapur trisection in Pratapgarh, police said today.
The accident took place last night when a speeding truck coming from Lucknow hit five pedestrians, they said
While Dilip Kumar (27) died in the accident, the other four suffered injuries and were sent to Allahabad for treatment, police said.
The body was sent for postmortem, they said, adding that efforts are on to nab the truck driver.
