CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury today claimed that Donald Trump's "surprise" victory in the US Presidential elections would lead to "global uncertainties".
"Trump's election as the US President has evoked surprise as nobody expected him to defeat Hillary (Clinton)...His election would create uncertainties globally," he said while addressing Tamil Nadu CPI(M)'s state-level conference here.
Yechury claimed that Trump's policies would "take a toll" on the BPO sector in India and "restrict" the entry of Indian students to the US.
