Transmission Corporation of Telangana (TS TRANSCO) today issued a notice to Andhra Pradesh power utilities, threatening to "regulate" power supply to them if dues of Rs 1,646.76 crore are not settled.
The notice came two days after the Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation issued similar notice to its counterpart in Telangana demanding payment of dues of Rs 3,500 crore.
"...Telangana Power utilities are constrained to regulate power supply to APDISCOMS from TSGENCO due to the failure on part of AP power utilities to pay the rightful dues of TS power utilities," the notice said.
