TTK Healthcare reports 45 pc jump in Q4 net profits

TTK Healthcare, part of the TTK Group, has reported a 45 per cent increase in its net profits for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2014 at Rs 3.25 crore.

The company had reported net profits at Rs 2.24 crore during the corresponding period of previous year, TTK Healthcare said in a BSE filing.

Total income from operations for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2014 grew to Rs 100.57 crore from Rs 85.91 crore registered during the corresponding period of previous year.

ASCI announces top level rejig

* Advertising industry watchdog ASCI today announced top level management rejig with Shweta Purandare to assume charge of Secretary General from June 1 onwards.
 

The current secretary general Alan Collaco is retiring from Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) on May 30.

Purandare, is currently Chief Operations Officer of ASCI, the regulator said in a statement.

In her new role, Purandare will continue to handle consumer complaints process and lead marketing, public relations and social media initiatives for ASCI. PTI KRH

ICICI Prudential MF launches new equity scheme * ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has announced the launch of a new scheme 'ICICI Prudential Growth Fund - Series 1', a three-year close ended equity fund.

The scheme aims to provide capital appreciation by investing in a well-diversified portfolio of equity and equity related securities, a company release said.

The new fund offer will open for subscription on June 2 and close on June 16, 2014.

iBall launches quad core tab 'Slide Q900' for Rs 12,499 * Technology firm iBall today unveiled its 3G tablet PC -- Slide 3G 7803Q-900 for Rs 12,499 in the Indian market.

The 7.85-inch device features a quad core processor, 5MP Auto Focus (AF) rear camera and 2 MP front camera for video calling and clicking selfies, iBall said in a statement.

Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, the tablet is backed by a 1GB RAM and a built-in memory of 16GB (expandable up to 32 GB), it added.

Infor expands leadership team

* Business application software provider Infor today said it has hired Matt Breslin and Lisa Pope as Senior Vice Presidents to support the firm's growth in technology and cloud sales.

Reporting to Infor President, Stephan Scholl, Breslin and Pope will lead sales of Infor's Platform Technologies and Infor CloudSuite, respectively, it said in a release.

Prior to joining Infor, Breslin served as Vice President - Platform and Analytics for SAP and previously as Regional Vice President for technology products at Oracle.
