Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki today criticised opposition BJP for "breaching" the sanctity of the assembly by staging a walkout during the discussion on vote-on-account.
"Arunachal Pradesh is known as a symbol of democracy nationally, but the opposition has breached its sanctity," Tuki said in the assembly.
The opposition members were not behaving like elected members but working under somebody's direction, he said.

The members of the opposition bench behaved in a way as if it wants to take on the role of Information Commission under the RTI Act and the role of Accountant General.
"The BJP members have staged the drama with a political motive which is contrary to the role of the opposition," he said.
The chief minister also alleged that the opposition's intention was not to ask question but to divert people's attention.
