Turmeric and jeera prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on fresh buying by retailers and stockists amid low stocks.

Fall in supplies from producing belts also supported the upside in prices.

Turmeric prices rose by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 7,800-12,600 per quintal.

Jeera common and best quality also increased by Rs 100 each to settle at Rs 11,200-11,500 and Rs 14,500-15,000 per quintal.
