Press Trust of India New Delhi
In restricted activity, turmeric prices declined by Rs 100 per quintal at the Kirna market today due to reduced offtake by stockists, driven by easing demand against adequate stocks position.

However, other spices held steady in scattered deals.

Marketmen said reduced offtake by stockists due to fall in demand against ample stocks position mainly led to decline in turmeric prices.

In the national capital, turmeric fell by Rs 100 to Rs 7,800-11,600 per quintal.
