The fishing harbour management committee, formed six years ago, has decided to bring the harbour here under CCTV surveillance.
A top official of the Management committee said nine rotating cameras would be installed to monitor the bustling harbour to prevent crimes and anti-social incidents.
The suggestion for installing the cameras was made by district collector M. Ravikumar.
