TV Today Network today reported a decline of 28.49 per cent in standalone net profit at Rs 26.32 crore for the quarter ended on December 31, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 36.81 crore in the October-December quarter a year ago, TV Today Network informed BSE.
Its total income from operations during the quarter under review was down 6.40 per cent to Rs 140.88 crore as against Rs 150.52 crore of the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
TV Today's total expenses were up 8.78 per cent to Rs 105.97 crore as against Rs 97.41 crore of 2015-16 period.
Its revenue from television broadcasting was down 6.89 per cent to Rs 138.26 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 148.50 of the corresponding quarter.
While revenue from radio broadcasting was up 29.70 per cent to Rs 2.62 crore in Q3 of FY 2016-17 as against Rs 2.02 crore.
Shares of TV Today Network were trading at Rs 267.35 on BSE, down 1.05 per cent from previous close.
