TV18 Broadcast Ltd today reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 43.22 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2014.
The company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 10.11 crore during the July-September quarter last fiscal.
Total income from operation during the second quarter of 2014-15 stood Rs 553.67 crore. It was Rs 483.17 crore during the same quarter last fiscal.
TV18 Broadcast said results were not comparable as Equator Trading Enterprises including its subsidiary Prism TV has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
Moreover, Eenadu Television has also become an associate of the company from January this year.
"To this extent, the results of this period are not comparable with the corresponding previous period," TV18 Broadcast said.
