To consolidate its position, TVS Motor Company is planning to introduce two new models this year, including relaunching its popular TVS Victor and a premium bike.

"The company will introduce two new motorcycles this year, including TVS Victor and a high powered premium bike," the City-based company said in a statement.

The two and three-wheeler maker had ceased production of its highly popular commuter motorcycle, TVS Victor, few years back.

Last year, TVS Motor Chairman and Managing Director Venu Srinivasan revealed company's plans to reintroduce TVS Victor.

Meanwhile, the high-powered premium bike is pegged to be the first product from the TVS and BMW Motorrad partnership.

The two companies had entered into a pact in April 2013 to develop and manufacture motorcycles below 500cc in India that will be marketed across the globe.

"(the first product) it is going to be ready by the second half of next calendar year (2015). All the work is under progress," Srinivasan had said.

In addition to the new launches, the company also plans to upgrade some of the existing products to further strengthen its portfolio, the statement said.
