At least 20 people were injured when police used lathis to disperse a group of people who gheraoed the deputy commissioner's office here during a bandh today.
The people went to the DC's office and gheraoed it when police allegedly made an attempt to open shops and markets closed in response to the bandh called in protest against erratic power supply in the town, police said.
Two seriously injured persond were admitted to hospital.
