Twenty Two Motors unveils prototype of smart e-scooter Flow

Twenty Two Motors today unveiled a prototype of an electric scooter which it plans to launch early next year.

The scooter, which is christened as Flow, is powered by a lithium ion battery which can be charged within a span of two hours enabling the vehicle to travel a distance of 80 km.

The model features various connected features that would enable the user to keep an eye on the performance of the vehicle even from a distance.

"We have set up a plant at Bhiwadi with a production capacity of 300 units a day. In the first year of the launch itself we are looking at sale of 50,000 units," Twenty Two Motors CEO and Co Founder Parveen Kharb told reporters here.
 

The company would look at enhancing the production capacity after the roll out of the first batch early next year, he added.

Elaborating on the features, he said the scooter can go up to 60 km per hour and would be launched with dual battery option.

"It is expected to priced between Rs 65,000-70,000," Kharb said.

Commenting on the smart features, he added that the scooter has geo fencing which provides security against theft.

"User mobile application provides one touch solution to control every aspect of vehicle," Kharb said.
