Two arms dealers nabbed in Delhi

Two suspected arms suppliers have been arrested and 17 automatic pistols seized from them, the police said today.

One of the accused, Kailash (35), was nabbed from Nizamuddin Yamuna Bridge, here on September 2, said P S Kushwah, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell).

Seven pistols were seized from him.

Another arms supplier, Madhav Rawal (25), a resident of Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh was nabbed on Salimgarh Bypass, near Rajghat on September 10. Ten illegal sophisticated pistols along with nine spare magazines were recovered from him, said the officer.

Kailash is working for some arms suppliers based in Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh), whereas Rawal is working with an arms supplier in Meerut (Uttar Pradesh), police said.
