Two persons were arrested from Mirzapur district for allegedly carrying detonators and gelatin rods, police said today.
Acting on a tip off, the duo were arrested yesterday from Khodwa in Padri area of Mirzapur, they said, adding that 400 gelatin rods, 200 electronic detonators, two batteries and a fuse wire were recovered from their possession.
The accused have been identified as Ratanpuri and Phulchandra Gujar of Rajasthan, police said, adding that the probe is on.
