According to police, Gulfam, along with his friends Rahul and Atul, hatched a plan to kill Suraj as he had been pressurizing his sister to marry him for a long time.
"Gulfam told police that Suraj wanted to marry his sister, but she did not like him. His sister had turned down his offer of marriage. Despite this, Suraj continued to pressurize her," said Hardaya Singh, Station House Officer, Vijay Nagar police station.
"On December 21, Gulfam called up Suraj to come to Jaswant Nagar Railway station. When Suraj reached there, the trio hammered him to death and fled from the spot," he said.
