Police made the arrests based on a complaint filed by one Ashish Grover, who runs a mobile shop in Janak Puri, that his son was missing since October 21 after he went along with Babita to market.

Hours after he went missing, Grover's wife receiveda a ransom call on her mobile from an unknown person that they had to pay Rs 50 lakh for the safe return of her son.

"Relatives of Babita residing in Ranhola area were interrogated. The interrogation revealed that Babita was friends with Meenu Kumar of Aligarh and he is residing in Noida," a senior police official said.

After searches, police arrested Ravi and Veer Pal and recovered the child.

"The boy was handed over to the parents last night," he said.
