Two persons today were arrested in connection with the killing of a person at Regidi village under Berhampur Sadara police station limit, police said.
The police also seized two swords and a stone slab which were allegedly used to kill Suresh Pradhan (32) of Keranditola village on Wednesday night.
The accused were identified as J Sunil Patra (21) and P Siba Patra (20), police said.
The accused had attacked Pradhan with sword and then smashed his head with the stone slab, they said adding the seized weapons would be sent for forensic labrotary for test.
Preliminary inquiry showed previous enmity was the cause of the gruesome incident, sub-divisional police officer, Berhampur Sadara, AK Mohanty said.
