The police today arrested two persons for allegedly killing a youth in Ulhasnagar town in the district two days ago.
Police PRO Gajanan Kabdule said that Deepak Shingare (31) and Shankar Shingare (20) picked up a quarrel with Vijay Nana Shingare (24) in the Ambedkar chowk over some previous dispute and hit him with iron rods and stones.
Vijay died at Kalwa civic hospital here yesterday morning.
Following which the police arrested the duo who were distantly related to the victim and lived in the same locality. Further probe is on.
